FRANDOM WORD CONTEST:

I got some wonderful entries in the random word poetry contest, and here are my three favorites, each will receive a gift.

My Brother
by Leslie Dennis

Soar to heaven, innocent angel.
Touch a thousand moonbeams,
Embrace the spirits of the universe,
be rich in peace, my brother.

Time and Tide
by Elizabeth Ashworth
http://zeebagsvt.biz

Morning,
Honey!
Kiss?

Frink she bed?
Blow young perfume.

Write, neo magical guardian Holly!

Always explore passion, Sugar!

Heartbond together, Babe!

With worship know...
Equinox,
Elder,
Ash...
.
Slow death between
Holly
Beer,
Bed.

Ebb, empty moon.
'Night!

Night Music
by Ambergris

Ash and elm, stand together
with elder renewing, holly guardian.
A bed of ferns and stars my witness
are all I swore I would ever need
here in the circle, here in the night.

Kiss me slow and let me show
why the young worship with death in sight.
The song that called me draws them too.
Sweetly calling neo-darling
explore with me what crushes ferns.

Write with perfumed smoke or beer
between moon haze and morning daze
equinox or solstice spells.
She comes by night to magical rite
always babe and mom and gran.

Honey, sugar, heartbond always-
Hurry darling-they'll start without us!
Ferns rustle, tickle, crush and wrinkle.
Ebb and blow, come and go
(in the ferns--frustle, frickle, frush and frinckle)
but empty passion never know!
(Hear them worship? Fruss, frick! Frush, frink!)
Here's a spell worth any other.

Creativity Exercise - Labryrinth

I make use of the Labyrinth as a meditation tool in Heart Duel. Here is one I did myself (a little more amateurish than I’d like).

and here are other finger labyrinths that can be found to work with online.

Virtual labyrinth on line (Flash)

So, trace the path and try and turn off your mind – or just let the inspiration in! See what sort of ideas pop up and work with them as a new project!

Or consider labyrinths themsleves – ancient, many-cultured, different from mazes. What does the word mean to you off the top of your head? How could YOU incorporate one or the ideas it brings, into your own work?
