Fast, free-associate that word? What does it mean? Is the first impression
good – fire in the hearth on a rainy day? Or bad? Forest fire?
Exercise 1: Use fire in your next piece.
Exercise 2: Contrast the "good/bad" aspects of fire in your next
piece.
